Questas Group is pleased to announce that as of 1 July 2021, our business has acquired Hardchrome Sales and Rathmann Engineering.
Founded in 1964, Hardchrome Sales have the largest capacity for re-chroming and grinding of hydraulic rods, shafts and pins in Western Australia. Known for their excellence in the engineering and refurbishment of hydraulic equipment, Hardchrome Sales specialise in fitting, chroming, machining, welding and honing services. Their large customer base includes Westrac, Komatsu, Liebherr and Rio Tinto.
With a strong reputation for their workmanship and high levels of customer service in the industry, the team at Rathmann Engineering have significant experience and tenure in the hydraulics industry.
The two businesses currently employ approximately 45 employees based at their state-of-the-art facilities in Perth, WA.
Hardchrome Sales and Rathmann complement and enhance Questas Group’s existing businesses in Perth, and we are thrilled to have them onboard.
Continuing under the strong leadership of General Manager Nigel Morgan, Questas is looking forward to working with Hardchrome Sales and Rathmann Engineering to build on their excellent reputation for workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction, and grow the businesses across Australia.
